Myfanwy Boucher

Myfanwy Boucher, happily married with 3 children is a self-taught hand builder potter from Christmas Rock, in the Eastern Cape. In 2020 she started "Rose Madder Art" as a sideline arts and crafts business during Covid. In May 2024 she decided to pursue her dream as a full-time potter and to grow "Rose Madder Art".  She now has a studio classroom situated at Kidds Beach where she teaches pottery hand building classes to adults and children. 

On this journey she found a passion for making slip casting moulds herself. She holds ceramic painting workshops using her own designed bisque ware that she has slip casted and fired using her kiln. 

She aims to achieve a unique experience for all that join and to help enrich the community of the Sunshine Coast, to attract and to create a greater awareness of our beautiful seaside villages and towns.
